- Does Biblio Sell To Amazon And The Other Online Retailers?
Yes, Biblio sells to all these retailers, often through a
wholesaler. We will get your title set up at the major online retailers and

monthly title database updates to these electronic accounts as well as to all
major bricks and mortar vendors who accept data transfers.

- Will I Need To Produce My Own Catalog?
Biblio’s catalog is sufficient to sell to our accounts. However,
if publishers wish to create their own catalogs, they may do so, but Biblio
does not require them. We will supplement our catalogs with publisher catalogs.

- Will Biblio Market (promote) My Book?
No, Biblio's role is limited to sales and fulfillment. Publishers are responsible
for all marketing, promotion, and publicity functions. We do have sales reps
presenting our titles to their accounts, however, we define that as "sales" and
define "marketing" as promotion and publicity to consumers and the book
industry at large.

- How Do I Create a Marketing Plan and Promote My Titles?
This is actually a huge question and something you should carefully consider before
seeking distribution or going to print with your title. PMA is a good place to start
reading up on the subject: http://www.pma-online.org/scripts/shownews.cfm?id=1332.
- Why doesn't my distributor take care of marketing and promotion? Isn't
that what a distributor is supposed to do?
Unless you are one of the top 10 bestselling authors in the world whose name alone can sell a
book, EVERY book needs all the marketing and publicity help it can get. And you must sustain
publicity and marketing efforts for the entire life of the book, not just when it first comes out.
Distributors are responsible for making sure your book is available to the marketplace.
Publishers are responsible for creating demand for their book. Publishers need to drive consumers
into bookstores to look for their book. Distributors make sure bookstores have, or can get, your book.
